A staff of highly trained and board-certified orthopedic surgeons offers a full range of major elective orthopedic procedures, including spine surgery and major joint replacements, along with expert management of extremity injuries.
A dedicated physician’s assistant (P.A.) strengthens the program by coordinating and monitoring patient care. Working in experienced teams, major procedures are performed on adult patients, including the very elderly, with excellent functional outcomes.
Under the clinical leadership of Dr. Thomas Larkin, chief, and Dr. Howard Baum, assistant chief and assistant director of surgery, the members of the division have maintained the highest levels of patient safety and compliance with national standards.
